Please accept my sincere wishes for a happy new year to all cardiologists in practice throughout Europe!
For this year there are several exciting developments for our council.
First of all the 2nd European Meeting of Cardiology Practice at the European Heart House in Nice on 29-30 April. The program focuses on in-depth discussion of the recent ESC guidelines with prominent lecturers. This meeting is also very important to develop contacts and discuss practice with colleagues from other parts of Europe. Register as soon as possible for an early fee!!
Furthermore the CCP is preparing for activities at the ESC Congress 2011 in Paris and is developing more cooperation and contacts with the other ESC communities – thus we will have a joint symposium with the European Association of Echocardiography at the EuroEcho 2011 in Budapest.
Our E-journal is an excellent source for weekly scientific updates. It reaches to thousands of cardiologists world wide. The Council for Cardiology Practice is expecting to continue cooperation with national cardiac societies in joint sessions at national congresses. We welcome opportunities from all countries and I would be personally pleased to hear from you on such possibilities in your country (you can reach me at email@example.com).
Best regards from
