Abstract constitutes the redaction of original research, it should detail the objectives of the research, your methodology, the results and conclusions.

Submit your clinical case

Clinical case submission reports on a patient management case you have encountered in your practice. In order to create your clinical case submission, you need to:

  • Introduce and describe the patient including presenting condition, co-morbidities, psychological and social factors
  • Explain the procedures, techniques and patient management programme implemented.
  • Raise the questions, problems or possible differential diagnosis queries you may have faced in the management of the case. Your conclusion should present the "learning experience" the case provided.

15 September 2016: Opening of the online abstract submission services.

15 December 2016: Deadline to submit your abstract or clinical case online.

End of January 2017: Abstract & Clinical case results. An email will be sent to the submitter. Abstract & Clinical case selection and session assignment will be available online.

27 February 2017: Early registration deadline. All abstract/clinical case presenters must be registered at the Congress.

Young Investigator Award Session

A session dedicated to young cardiologists will be chaired by senior faculty members.
Finalists will present their research in this oral session and a panel of experts will judge and determine the winners.

Grants & Prizes for the YIA finalists:

  • All finalists of the YIA competitions will receive a free registration to attend the congress
  • First prize winners will receive a 500€ prize
  • 2nd Runner-up position  will receive a 300€ prize
  • 3rd Runner-up position  will receive a 200€ prize

Conditions:

  • Your abstract(s) must be submitted under the option “Young Investigator Award”
  • The first author/presenter must be 38 years old or less
  • Your abstract must be accepted for presentation in the YIA Session at ICNC2017

Best Oral Abstract session

An oral session dedicated to the best scored abstracts!

Finalists will present their research in this oral session and a panel of experts will judge and determine the winners.

All finalists will benefit from a free registration to ICNC 2017.

Conditions:

  • Your abstract(s) must be submitted under the option “NO OPTION”
  • There is no age limit
  • Your abstract must be accepted for presentation at ICNC2017

Moderated Poster Sessions

Your research in a poster format and presented to an appointed moderator in front of the audience in 5 minutes during inter-session lunch break times.

Best Regional Posters

A selection of the best posters from the 5 continents will be made. Selected posters will be highlighted in the Poster Area and presenters will be delivered a diploma by renowned experts.

Conditions:

  • Your abstract(s) must be submitted under the option “NO OPTION”
  • There is no age limit
  • Your abstract must be accepted for presentation at ICNC2017

Poster Sessions

Poster sessions will feature abstracts and clinical cases submitted and accepted for poster presentation. Posters will be on display for all day and presenters will be available by their posters to discuss the content during respective coffee breaks.
