Dedicated to Spanish nurses, this workshop aims at providing nurses more information on how to get involved in the Heart Failure Association of the ESC.
Nurses have an important role to play in HF management programmes in all clinical placements; critical care settings, cardiology units, heart failure clinics and community, providing comprehensive care. Are nurses prepared to deal with ageing, chronic diseases like heart failure and comorbidities? This is a challenging issue which concerns nursing educators, administrators and healthcare services. HFA promotes heart failure nurses’ development. Through this session nurses will have the opportunity to learn and discuss in local language their opportunities for professional or/and academic development through the HFA.
The workshop will be chaired by Dr. Jillian Riley and Mercedes Faraudo
