Basic scientists & nurses

A special fee is available for Basic scientists (35 years old and under) and Nurses who have an accepted abstract in Heart Failure 2017: register for only 120€ only!

HFA Winter Research Meeting abstract presenters

Abstracts presented at the 2017 HFA Winter Research Meeting qualify for presentation at Heart Failure 2017. Registration fees are waived for presenters. 

Local abstract presenters

All local abstract presenters below 35 years of age having an accepted abstract accepted in Heart Failure 2017 will get a free admission to the congress.

At the time of submission, please choose one of the 4 abstracts presentation options (changes are not allowed after submission).

Young Investigator Award Session (YIA)

Two YIA sessions will be chaired by senior faculty members: one dedicated to Clinical Research and another to Basic Science.

The selected finalists will present their research in these dedicated oral sessions, and a panel of experts will judge the presentations and determine the winners.

Submit in this category to benefit from:

  • Free registration for Heart Failure 2017
  • A 400€ travel grant to come to Heart Failure 2017
  • Prizes: First Prize Winner (€ 1000) and two Runners-Up (€ 250)

Conditions:

  • Your abstract(s) must be accepted at Heart Failure 2017 in a Young investigator Award Session
  • You must be the presenter of your abstract(s)
  • You must be 35 years old or younger

Abstracts will be selected and assigned by the Scientific Programme Committee. Abstracts not selected for a YIA Session will be automatically considered for other oral presentation or poster presentation.

Nursing Investigator Award Session (NIA)

The selected finalists will present their research in this session dedicated to Nursing, and a panel of experts will judge the presentations and determine the winners.

Submit in this category to benefit from:

  • Free registration for Heart Failure 2017
  • A 400€ travel grant to come to Heart Failure 2017
  • Prizes: First Prize Winner (€ 1000) and two Runners-Up (€ 250)

Conditions:

  • You must be a registered nurse, dietician (and related professions) or in training
  • Your abstract(s) must be accepted at Heart Failure 2017 for the Nursing Investigator Award Session
  • You must be the presenter of your abstract(s)
  • There is no age limit

Presented Abstracts

Abstracts in this category will be assigned to Rapid Fire sessions or to Moderated Poster sessions.

Abstracts will be selected and assigned by the Scientific Programme Committee. Abstracts not selected for an oral presentation will be automatically considered for poster presentation.

Oral abstract sessions: Rapid Fire

Fast-paced and interactive oral presentations on research highlights, followed by discussions animated by two experts chairing the session!

Moderated Poster sessions

The ideal platform to meet presenters, colleagues & peers in front of their research and discuss their findings. Presenters will discuss the content of their poster in front of chairperson and an appreciative audience during the coffee break.

Posters for display

The ideal place to interact with peers and colleagues during breaks.
