The Leipzig/Halle Airport is about 30 minutes away from the centre of Leipzig. There are regular trains from the mainterminal to Leipzig Central Station .

InterCity and InterCityExpress trains travel from Leipzig Hauptbahnhof (Central Railway Station) to the major European cities. Leipzig's Central Railway Station is located in the city centre.
