(2) Proof of status will be required for:

  • Standard fee YOUNG: Applies to delegates under 38 years old and delegates under 40 years old who are currently in training. Copy of passport or ID card must be provided in both cases, along with a proof of your trainee status in the second case.
  • Nurse/Sonographer: letter from the head of department, both signed and stamped, is necessary.
  • e-Cardiology Working Group: proof of membership must be provided.

(3) Offer limited to the non-clinicians from the e-Cardiology Working Group only.

CME Accreditation

EuroEcho-Imaging 2016 is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists.
The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.net.
EuroEcho-Imaging 2016 is designated for a maximum of 20 hours of European external CME credits. Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
Information on the process to convert EACCME credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/go/internationalcme.
Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognized by the UEMS-EACCME for ECMEC credits are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

To get your press accreditation, please send a request to press-registration@escardio.org with the mandatory following credentials:

•    A valid and nominative press card or an appropriate letter of assignment
•    Three recent published articles (cardiology, health-related, or ESC event related)
•    A scan of the embargo form dully filled out

Company or media outlet business cards or membership cards will not be accepted as valid. Press registration is not available to Industry or its Public Relations representatives, event management, marketing or communications representatives, even if they have a valid press card.

Official Agency for AIFA submissions (Prerichiesta AIFA)

According to Italian legislation, any Marketing Authorisation Holder or pharmaceutical company responsible for the commercialisation of a drug, which organises or helps to organise, whether by direct or indirect funding in Italy or abroad, a congress, or a meeting on topics in any way related to the use of medicines, shall notify the competent Unit of the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA) at least 60 days before the date of the event to ensure that these adhere to strict technical criteria and aim to provide further knowledge in the fields of chemistry, pharmaceutical technology, biochemistry, physiology, pathology and clinical medicine.

AIM Group International has been appointed as the official agency for AIFA submission to support sponsors and exhibitors with these formalities. Pharmaceutical companies which require the authorisation from AIFA are advised to contact:
