Online Submission Service is now open - Deadline to submit is 1 March 2017.
The four main themes for submission this year are “Arrhythmias and devices”, “Interventional cardiology”, “Heart Failure” and“Acute Cardiac Care”
Clinical case submission is reserved for cardiologists under 36 at the time of the presentation - the first author/presenter must be born after 30 August 1981.

Late April 2017 - Clinical case results. An email will be sent to the submitter and first author (Presenter).
26 May 2017 - Deadline to confirm the presentation(s) and submit the agreement form(s)
All submissions will be considered by the selection committee and the four best cases will be selected to run in competition for an ESC Clinical Case Award.
Cases will be presented in a dedicated session and a panel will discuss all cases in a lively and interactive way. The winner will be selected by the Chairpersons with input from the panel and the audience based on the following criteria: originality, scientific content, presentation and answers to questions.
The Winner will receive a prize of € 2 000 and the finalists each receive € 1 000
Results will be announced at the Awards Ceremony taking place on Monday 28 August at 18:00 in the Agora , all finalists are requested to attend.
Five highly interactive and educational sessions dedicated to presentation of cases selected.
Young clinicians will present their cases and experts will moderate the session, facilitate interaction with the audience, prompt discussions, challenge the presenters and the audience.
The ESC Cardiologists of Tomorrow Nucleus wants to encourage all young clinicians to take an active role in the Congress.
All healthcare professionals in the Cardiovascular field who are ESC Professional Member / Member of ESC (ESC Association, Working Group , Councils and National Cardiac Society) are eligible to apply, priority will be given to applicants who are first-author of case submitted to ESC Congress 2017 as well as individuals from low & middle income countries.There is no strict age limit, the applicant is required to complete all mandatory fields and upload a CV as well as a letter of recommendation/ reference from Head of Department/Hospital.
