The programme is structured in two parts: the pre-arranged programme features lectures and presentations by key opinion leaders from around the globe are invited to share their knowledge in their specific field of expertise. The abstract-based programme will feature top research and give you the opportunity to interact with peers in your topic of interest.
A session dedicated to young cardiologists will be chaired by senior faculty members and the winner of the 2015 Young Investigator Award Competition.
Finalists will present their research in this oral session and a panel of experts will judge and determine the winners.
All YIA finalists will benefit from a free registration to Acute Cardiovascular Care 2016 and will have the opportunity to submit a paper for FAST TRACK review & immediate publication in the EHJ-ACVC.
Scientists and clinicians are invited to submit their un-published research in the area of acute cardiovascular care with a focus on quality of care research, clinical outcomes research and translational research applied to the development of novel therapeutic, diagnostic and logistical strategies to improve patient care and long-term outcomes.

Fast paced and providing plenty of exchange between the audience and the presenter - this session comprises of 10 abstract presentations. Discussions will be dealt with by experts chairing the session.
The ideal platform to meet presenters, colleagues and peers through their research and discuss their findings. Selected presenters are invited to discuss their abstract in front of an audience during designated breaks. They will be challenged by the moderators!
In the Poster Area, selected research will be on display during half-day sessions.
Clinical Cases will be presented in a dedicated Corner of the Poster Area on Saturday 15 October.
