  • Young Investigator Award sessions (YIA) - Basic & Translational Science - Clinical Science

Two sessions dedicated to Young Investigators where selected YIA finalists (four for each session) will present their research.
Sessions will be chaired by seniors faculty members and presentations evaluated by a panel of renowned experts.

- The selected presenters will receive certificate and complimentary registration.
- The winner from each session will receive a €500 prize and the option to publish in the Association’s journal: the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology.

  • Poster sessions - New format for 2012

Four poster sessions over three days. Presenters will briefly discuss the content of their poster in front of an appreciative audience during one hour break. A mentor will drive the discussion for a group of 10 posters and will tag the best poster as the "Judges Choice". Selected posters will be on display in a dedicated area until the end of the congress for a final selection. The eight best posters will be awarded with a €100 prize and a diploma.
This is an ideal platform to meet presenters, colleagues & peers in front of their research and discuss their findings.
