We are pleased to give young researchers more visibility and support their career development to promote excellence in clinical diagnosis, research, technical development, and education in cardiovascular ultrasound and other imaging modalities in Europe.

Graduated in September 2011
Research & Development scientist specialised in cardiac and vascular elastography.

Dr. Elham Khanicheh
Received her medical degree from Shahid Beheshti Univers
ity of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran in 2005. After serving residency as a General Practitioner in Iran she went on to obtain a Master of Public Health from the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden in 2010. Since 2010 she is a fellow in the MD-PhD program of the University Hospital of Basel, Switzerland. Her research focuses on developing novel methods for ultrasound molecular imaging in cardiovascular diseases.
Abstract: Noninvasive ultrasound molecular imaging of the effect of atorvastatin on vascular inflammation.
This session also welcomed the ASE (American Society of Echocardiography) Winner 2011 who gave a great presentation to our audience.
