The Working Group on Grown-up Congenital Heart Disease membership benefits include the following:
  • Joining an interactive and efficient network in Grown-up Congenital Heart Disease
  • Participating in Working Group scientific activities

  • Participating in the voting process for the Working Group on Grown-up Congenital Heart Disease Board Members’ election
As a member of the Working Group on Grown-up Congenital Heart Disease, you automatically become a member of the ESC and have access to all ESC membership benefits.

Candidates

Candidates should be actively involved in the care of adult patients with congenital heart disease and/or research on adult congenital heart disease
Adult cardiologists, pediatric cardiologists, cardiac surgeons and cardiac anaesthesiologists involved in adult congenital heart disease are welcome

How to apply?

Candidates are asked to fill in the required information and submit a brief curriculum vitae with list of publications.

  • Describe their training in congenital heart disease and their previous and current involvement in the care of and/or research in adult congenital heart disease.
  • Indicate the average percentage of professional time you spend with adult congenital heart disease.
  • Indicate the percentage of time you spend with clinical work, research, teaching/education and administration.

The chairman will present the applications from suitable new members to the Nucleus for ratification. 
Unsuitable applicants (as far as formal requirements are concerned) may be rejected by the Nucleus. In this case, the applicant will be notified by email but there is no obligation to give him/her reasons.
