We aim to develop this website into a centralised European repository for all information in this field. The site already contains references to relevant literature, like preparticipation screening and recommendations for sports participation of patients with cardiac disease. Moreover, a section with information on these topics for lay people participating in leisure-time or competitive sports is under development.
We will centralise information on Sports Cardiology meetings throughout Europe, both those organised by EACPR; such as the Sports Cardiology Track during the upcoming EuroPRevent 2011 meeting in Geneva, and those endorsed / listed by EACPR and the Sports Cardiology Section.
We are setting up links to other national and international sports cardiology organisations throughout Europe and beyond. Check it all out soon!
