If you are a speaker or abstract author involved in the ESC Congress and you have already been contacted by the ESC Press Office, this will have been concerning:
1. Speaking at an ESC press conference during the Congress
and/or
2. Providing the text for a press release relating to your study
and/or
3. Being a spokesperson for the press
With regard to each of these, please note the following important information.
ESC Press Centre
Only speakers involved in the press activities and registered press (i.e. journalists) have access to the ESC Press Centre. Industry representatives and Public Relations agents are not eligible for entry. (Industry press activities are held separately in the Industry Press Rooms).
Presentation Submission
All ESC press conferences are now connected to the main Speaker Service Centre system. Therefore your presentation must be uploaded via the Speaker Service Centre on-site, ideally the day before your presentation.
Due to increased technology/security restrictions regarding the Congress overall, no laptops, floppy disks or CD Roms can be used for ESC press conference presentations.
Contacting the ESC Press Office
